American Express is set to launch its first business credit card in Nigeria through a partnership with local neobank O3 Capital. This new offering aims to enhance access to dollars within the country.
The product was unveiled in Lagos, with a spending limit of $10,000 and a repayment period of up to 45 days for international transactions. Mohammed Badi, President of Global Network Services at Amex, stated that this move will provide support to local businesses in Nigeria and contribute to their growth.
The introduction of the American Express Business Card marks a significant step in expanding Amex’s presence in Nigeria and across Africa.
