Dr Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has not yet formally handed over to the Permanent Secretary, despite being directed to do so by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Nigerian Tribune reports that the minister left the office shortly after receiving the suspension letter, which was delivered by an official from the State House.
The President has also directed Edu to fully cooperate with investigating authorities as they conduct their investigation.
